A regular, simple internet search is one of the BEST ways to find scholarships, especially if you have some unique interests or abilities.

Go to your favorite search engine (Yahoo, Google, Dogpile, etc.) and search with the words: scholarship, _______________

Fill in the blank with something about yourself, your family, or interests - like golf, catholic, cancer, asian, architect, tall, quilt, pilot, journalism, asthma, bagpipes. See where we're going with this? Check your resume for more ideas!

There are many scholarships offered specifically for latinos. Visit hispanicfund.org, chci.org, maldef.org, scholarshipsforhispanics, and hsf.net to get started, but don't stop there - you'll find more if you keep looking! (Also check out this one, due 02/26/10.)
