Cal Grant
The Cal Grant GPA Verification Form is available in the Career Center but it can also be downloaded here.
Please turn in your completed GPA form to the Counseling Office RIGHT AWAY - even if you haven't done your FAFSA yet. Please do not wait until March 2nd. Our Registrar individually verifies each student GPA and forwards the information to the state electronically - and the school's deadline is also March 2nd.
Follow up. It is important for you monitor your Cal Grant status and make sure your GPA actually made it all the way to the state's database. Remember, a missed deadline is a missed deadline, even if it wasn't your fault. In mid-February, and again on March 3rd, visit MyGrantInfo. You'll need to create a profile to verify your status. If anything you see (or don't see) worries you, ask Mrs. Bastian or your Counselor to help you figure it out.
